Repeat Post-Phone Scams Popping Up Again!

Please be aware that the police department has been receiving an influx of calls regarding phone scams (IRS calls, relatives being held hostage calls and U.S. Department of Treasury calls).  It is important to remember not to give out any personal information unless you are certain as to who you are speaking to.  If you have any question about the safety of a family member, do what you can to get in contact with someone who might know where they are and if they are safe!  See the attached link for extra info in spotting these scammers and what you can do to not fall victim of their sneaky ways!
